Styled Shoot: My Princess and the Pea

It doesn’t seem like it’s been two months since my last post.  I was living a completely different life then – Chicago resident, apartment dweller and working a full-time job in Property Management.  Since June I spent  a month living on my own in Chicago really exploring the city and wrapping up loose ends up my job, took a road trip to Ohio for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and then another road trip to Massachusetts for a 60th Family Reunion and somewhere in there I permanently relocated to just outside Raleigh to become a North Carolina resident, home owner and stay at home mom!  It has been a huge adjustment but a very positive change in my life.  I feel stress free for the first time in a long time, I’ve lost those 5 lbs that have been hanging on and I’m getting a lot accomplished.  Not blogging, clearly.  So here is my attempt to change that.  I decided if I’m going to be home with the munchkin all day she’s going to have to pull her weight and indulge my ideas.  Today I had a flash of inspiration to make Evie into my own little Princess and the Pea.  I knew all those random throw pillow would come in handy someday!  I also tried my hand at matte post processing.  There is definitely room for improvement but I have the time to work on it, and several more ideas cooking, including a Little Red Riding Hood setup starring Oz as the wolf.  Stay tuned!
