I was thrilled to be invited back by Yellow Barn Design to the Village of Homewood to capture the annual Art & Garden Fair. My goal was to capture the heart of the fair, the special events, the performers, the vendors, the community gathering together. I arrived and immediately wished I had brought my family with me and I am already looking forward to bringing them next year. It’s an event well worth the drive or Metra ride from Chicago, great performers, amazing vendors — bubbles for the kids and craft brews for the adults, it really doesn’t get any better than this folks. I’m glad I got a chance to venture out and capture some of the Village as well. It’s a great destination for a day trip in order to browse the shops and try a beer at Lassen’s or a sundae at Mitchell’s, whatever your refreshment of choice may be. I really could go on about how much I enjoyed capturing this event but I think I’ll just let the images speak for themselves!
I was very much looking forward to the bubble show and it did not disappoint. Who knew soap could be so entertaining!
Bubble in the process of being popped, amazing, I love it.
