Baby Style: Wittlebee

I am addicted to Girls Gone Child and when she wrote a post about Wittlebee with the option to try it for $25 I decided to give it a try.  Basically its regularly $40 a month and you receive a personally styled box of three mix and match outfits.  It comes to $6 an item which is a great deal.  For the quality you’re getting, you couldn’t get these pieces for that little unless you score at a consignment shop.  This isn’t something I’ll do every month because we are thrifty shoppers and Evie does not lack for clothes.  I’m so glad I tried it though.  In general I hate surprises, but I love grab bags so I was excited to see how it would turn out.  I left a note for my stylist saying that we liked earth tones and muted colors and described E’s style as hipster vintage, no country florals (sorry mom!) or bright orange/yellow.

The box came really quickly, beautifully packaged with some fun stickers (Evie is too young for stickers but I am not too old for them!).  I chose 6-12 months for size and all of it is too big for my petite 8 month old, but I can’t wait until she grows into it.  It is all gorgeous, soft and spot on.  Her Tea leggings actually do fit and she got this rainbow shirt that I die for!  I will be so sad when she outgrows it someday.  I showed it to Thomas and told him I’d specified hipster and he said, “That is totally something Michael Cera would wear!”.

So I’m really pleased with how it turned out, and I understand that they are pretty good at making it right if they are ever completely off the mark.  E’s next box will come in December for under the tree and I can’t wait!

And now the best part, if you want you can try it out yourself with $10 off your first box!  Enjoy!
