I first met Ryley (Busser to his friends) in college. I was away from home for the first time, really missing having a dog around and I loved seeing him. I would get my puppy fix in giving him head scritches and belly rubs. He was and is one of the sweetest dogs, he has a personality that spreads joy. He makes a lasting impression on everyone he meets. He’s a lot like his his mom Tori that way. She is a hilarious, sarcastic, genuine and caring person who I’m privileged to call a friend. Tor and Ry are two peas in a pod when it comes to making friends and keeping them. They are always there for you when you need them. And last year, when Ryley was experiencing health problems requiring an invasive procedure, when Tori and Ryley needed, their friends rallied. They were there for them in person and in spirit, they gave their love, support and helped Ry get the treatment he needed adding not only years to his life, but quality time for these two best friends to enjoy life. You just have to see these two together to know how much they love each other. Ryley just lights up when Tori is around and vice versa, it’s truly beautiful to see. Thanks for the play date you two, I may have my own pup now but I never get tired of Busser cuddles!
Ry is not supposed to lick mommy…..
I just think these are beautiful moments.
There’s always time for silliness.
