Happy St Patty’s Day! The weather was glorious and our goal was just to enjoy the beautiful day, not get pinched and have a little beer and corned beef. Evie’s goal was to make sure she got to wear every article of green clothing she owned. It was a gross day, we earned our beer for sure!
Outfit #1 — A green onesie and her adorable new rainbow baby legs, I felt a rainbow was appropriate, gold at the end of one etc.
Outfit #2 — Her “real” St Patrick’s Day outfit. A precious green dress with shamrocks and green bloomers. I die from the cuteness! This one lasted at least long enough for some photos.
Outfit #3 — Was not so lucky, there are no photos. It was a really cute pair of footsie jammies with guitars. Really cute, guess you’ll just have to take my word for it.
Outfit #4 — Ok, what else do we have that’s green? Score! This really pretty butterfly dress from Mexico — a “my grandmother went on a cruise and all I got was this super cute dress” present. This lasted through photos and a beer/coffee run, very impressive.
Outfit #5 — Froggie Jammies! And bonus, we have two pairs of these, so we’re covered in the event of another mess! She may just make it to midnight only wearing green and then she’s safe for another year from pinching. And she has to wear green, she is after all part Irish. To be more precise…
Overall, a pretty successful first St Patrick’s Day. Corned Beef cooking? Check! Wore green? Check! Learned why there are no more unicorns? Check! So Happy St Patty’s Day to you all, I need to finish my beer!
