By the end of the work week I’m pretty much beat and my couch is looking pretty good, so I’m loving that these Crave photo shoots are not only introducing me to some amazing women and businesses, but they are also forcing to me get out and enjoy the day! It was a beautiful fall day this past Saturday and what a waste if it had been spent inside. I got Thomas to come along and carry my pack with the promise of brunch and we headed to Logan Square to meet with Kimberly of Estate Chicago where she had a display set up at the lovely A Touch of Vintage. She has an amazing collection of art deco, edwardian, and mid-century estate jewelry for sale and I just drooled over everything. I love estate jewlry as it is, the history, the romance, the sparkly of it all. If I was Kimberly I would have a have a hard time selling anything and would probably just load everything into a vault where I could swim through it like Scrooge McDuck. Check out her Etsy store here and see if you don’t covet everything!
Kimberly was as amazing as her jewelry and twice as gorgeous. Don’t believe me; check out the incredible photo below — with her flawless skin she could have stepped out of another era along with her jewelry. It was wonderful working with her and I have to thank her for the great brunch recommendation. If you are ever in Logan Square check out Lula Café, just amazing! Everything was local and organic with a side of hipster thrown in. I will also mention that the holidays are fast approaching and all you Chicagoans are in luck because you can see what Estate Chicago has to offer in person at the Randolph Street Market Modern Vintage Event Oct 22nd & 23rd and at their holiday market November 19th & 20th. This is a must see and I know I’ll be there!
