I just don’t know how to fit three days in Paris into one post. We had the most amazing time, Paris is an amazing city. It oozes charm, it’s immaculate, the metro is easy to use, the wine is delicious. People just seemed to enjoy themselves more. It wasn’t all perfect of course, nothing is. It was different from Chicago though – in good ways and bad ways. So here is some of what I loved the most:
Beautiful Farmers Markets
Carousels EVERYWHERE! We rode this double decker one.
The bridge from "Inception" - just beautiful - and miraculously empty!
The Eiffel Tower in the background of everything - just quietly iconic.
The accordion, does anything sound more French?
Booksellers along the Seine - I got a lovely copy of "Alice Au Pays Des Marveilles"
New and old blending seamlessly.
Seeing images on postcards and then taking the same photo myself!
Perfectly cliched french scenes actually happening - like a movie.
