DeAwna & Eric : County Line Orchard

I met DeAwna in Photography Class and since then we’ve developed a friendship through photo shoots, show openings and a few cocktails.  By association we’ve each come to know each other’s husbands as well.  Having missed out on engagement photos the first time around a plan was hatched to take advantage of a gorgeous fall weekend and head to parts unknown (Indiana) to go apple picking and work in those engagement photos we never got.   We had a bit of an adventure finding the place, and due to weather this year there was no more actual apple picking at the orchard.  For all that, we had an amazing afternoon.  The sky was clear and bright; the weather was that perfect crisp fall temperature perfect for sweaters, jackets optional.  We worked hard taking photos, and played hard sampling delicious hot apple cider while we explored the gorgeous grounds of County Line Orchard.

I loved shooting DeAwna and Eric, they have an endearing playful way together that shines on camera.  It’s impossible not to see each how much in love they are by the way they look at each other.  They are naturals in front of the camera, certainly makes sense DeAwna has a background in theatre and Eric is a Blue Man, and the camera loves them!  Being versed in photography themselves they were perfect to shoot, up for anything and eager to share tips and ideas.  There was a great back and forth camaraderie all day, and I loved being photographed as much I did photographing, not usually the case!  I could have shot there for a week and still have found more spots, more poses I wanted to try, more photos I wanted to take.  Luckily our husbands are more grounded and were able to get us to the car as we kept stopping for, “Just onnnnnnnnnne more photo!”

I looooove these images; it really would have been more of a challenge to take bad photos of these two.  You can see more from this photo shoot at Oz Images Photography on Facebook!
